AI Teachers is a project that helps students get answers to their questions anytime, even when teachers aren’t available. The goal is to create AI versions of teachers that students can ask questions to 24/7. This will help students who need help with homework or lessons when teachers are busy or not around. The AI will answer questions just like a real teacher would, making learning easier.

AI Teachers started with Zachary Herren, Patrick Dutton, Majok Majok, and Thomas Johnson. Now, Allison Wilkes, Ailis Campos, and Majok Majok are working on it. The team has mostly finished the AI models for the teachers, but they’re not fully done yet. They are waiting to put the teachers into a virtual reality (VR) classroom before they finish everything. The AI is built using ConvAI and Unreal Engine, which will let students interact with their teacher in a virtual classroom. The AI can answer questions and help with lessons, but it’s not ready for students to use just yet.

The team also plans to add voice recognition so students can talk to the AI instead of typing. AI Teachers will help students whenever they need it and give teachers more time to focus on other things. This project could totally change how students learn and get help from teachers.
