A student in the Harrisburg High School EAST program created a community-focused Trick or Treat and Halloween Home Decoration map using ArcGIS and Survey123. The map allows residents to find the best locations for trick-or-treating and view houses with Halloween decorations in their area. By collecting data with Survey123, students pinpointed which homes would participate in trick-or-treating and which would have festive displays. They then used ArcGIS to visualize this information on an interactive map that community members can access to plan their Halloween night. This project not only enhances the Halloween experience but also fosters community engagement and ensures a safe and organized celebration for all.
