The Football Field Fix-up consisted of fixing our schools practice field. The practice field was dangerous for our players due to the holes, rocks, and muddy areas on the field so our players were not getting to practice to their best ability. We wanted to fix this problem and make the field better for our players. We made multiple calls to potential community partners for items to fix our field such as dirt, seed, and tools. We ended up gaining Garden City and DonorsChoose as community partners. Garden city donated 40 bags of dirt and DonorsChoose granted us over $200 dollars in product worth to get seed and tools for our project. Later in the year during spring, we enlisted the help of the football team and added dirt and seed to the field to make grass grow and fill in the holes. Now, our football field looks better than ever!
