Stand & Deliver

Presentations take preparation and practice. Whether you are pitching your idea to a community partner or school administrator or presenting your project at EAST Night Out or Conference, there are tips and techniques that will make your presentation more effective. This session will cover the basics of presentation preparation, as well as public speaking, to help you hone your skills to not just stand and deliver, but to engage your audience, take them on a journey, and leave them wanting more. Body language, phone etiquette, and email etiquette will also be covered. Bring your own project or idea to use in class. This session will be interactive and conversational.
