2012 Seminar Highlights

Facilitators, presenters, and EAST Staff members gathered on the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro for professional development, networking opportunities, idea sharing, and some good ole fashioned fun!

The seminar provides facilitators, presenters and EAST Initiative staff with an opportunity to learn, network, share — and do something everyone should do on their summer vacation: have some fun!

EAST staff and industry professionals will give instruction in various technologies and software used in EAST classrooms.  All registered Summer Seminar attendees may participate

Parking tickets or tags will be provided for Seminar participants.  Plan to park in the parking garage attached to the Student Union.  If spaces are unavailable, there is a parking lot behind Kays Hall that may have availability.  Please review the parking map to identify the facilities and parking locations.  


Let us know you will be attending by registering before Friday, May 31. An invoice for the registration fee(s) will be emailed to you after you register.  

Payment Deadline: July 11, 2012

To maintain EAST compliance, facilitators unable to attend must email events@eaststaff.org stating the reason for the absence followed by a written letter from the building principal on school letterhead, giving the reason for absence, before the registration deadline Friday, May 31.

Registration Terms & Conditions / Drop Policy

By registering for the Pre-Seminar Tech Camp and/or the EAST Facilitator Summer Seminar (the 'Seminar'), you are confirming that you intend to participate at the levels for which you have registered at these events. In turn, the EAST Initiative incurs certain non-refundable costs and expenses on your behalf. For this reason, any registered participant who drops registration(s) after Friday, July 6, 2011, or does not attend without dropping, will be required to pay their full registration fee(s). 

Prize Drawing

The Seminar culminates with a prize drawing during the closing session. To enter, attendees must submit specific information, described on our Prizes page.
