Students in the school's Environmental and Spatial Technology (EAST) program were eager to help the county identify and map acceptable landing zones.

Arkansas Attorney General Mike Beebe visited the Star City High School's EAST Lab to review the student devised Lincoln County Crystal Meth Watch Program. Using a PowerPoint slide and printed materials, students Alex Harper, Cassie Drake, Grayson Moore and Morgan Drake presented the program for Beebe.

The Eureka Spring High School EAST Lab received a $1,000 grant from the Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation (NWACF) to upgrade EAST Lab equipment and to start a fund for a Carroll County Technology Center.
