Summer in the City
Hot time, summer in the city! The 2010 Summer Seminar is a wrap. Thanks to all who participated in this event, which gives facilitators an opportunity to learn, grow, network and have some summer fun.

This required seminar is open to EAST facilitators with one or more full years of EAST classroom experience and who intend to return next school year to this same position. Eighteen (18) professional development hours and additional technology hours will be provided for full participation.
Registration fee is $125, which includes lunch on Tuesday, June 29 and Wednesday, June 30. An invoice for this amount will be emailed to you when you register.
Facilitators unable to attend must submit a written letter on school letterhead from the building principal giving the reason for the absence before registration deadline of Friday, May 21, in order to maintain EAST compliance.
By registering for the EAST Facilitator Summer Seminar (the 'Seminar'), you are confirming that you intend to participate fully at this event. In turn, the EAST Initiative incurs certain non-refundable costs and expenses for you. For this reason, any registered participant who drops their registration after Friday, June 4, 2010, or does not attend, will be required to pay the $125.00 registration fee to cover the costs and expenses already incurred for the event.
The Seminar culminates with a prize drawing during the closing session. To enter, you must submit responses to specific questions, to be shared with participants. See how to enter by visiting our Prizes page.
